Mechanical સેમેસ્ટર ૫ અને ૭ ના બધા જ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ કે જેમને આજ દિન સુધી ચાલું સત્ર દરમિયાન કોલેજ માં લેક્ચર/લેબ. માં રીપોર્ટીંગ કરેલ નથી તેમને તા. ૨૧/૦૭/૨૦૧૪ ને સોમવારના રોજ બપોરે ૧૨.૩૦ કલાકે પોતાના પિતા અથવા માતા (જો ન હોય તો તેમના પાલ્ય વાલી) સાથે ગેરહાજરી અંગેના રીપોર્ટ સાથે મીકેનીકલ સેમીનાર હોલમાં અચુંક હાજર રહેવું.
પિતા અથવા માતા અથવા પાલ્ય વાલી ને સાથે લીધા વિના આવનાર વિદ્યાર્થીને લેક્ચર/લેબ.માં બેસવા અનુમતિ આપવામાં આવશે નહી.

Warning: BE Mechanical Students (Less/No attendance in Lect/Laboratory)

All BE Mechanical Engineering students are informed that their Lectures and Practicals have been started from 02/07/2014.

It is found that some of the students are not attending the lectures and laboratories upto 5.15 PM. They face problem of short attendance.

It is also observed that many students have not reported in college till today. Such students are strictly informed to report immediately. Such students are informed to attend all (100%) lectures and laboratories till the end of semester to maintain overall attendance.

If any student fails to make up attendance upto 75%, He will be detained.
Students who have not reported in college till date are informed to come with Parent and contact Head of Mechanical Department Immediacy.

GEC Patan : Hostel Admission Notice for Academic Year: 2014-15

Hostel Admission Notice for Academic Year: 2014-15
All students are informed that hostel admission process for academic session 2014-2015 will start from 05/07/2014 as per scheduled below.

Procedure for Hostel’s Admission
1. Hostel Admission forms will be available with Mr. S. N. Sai in Room No. 102 of Admin building.
2. All students seeking admission in the hostel are required to submit duly filled hostel admission form with all the enclosures to Mr. S. N. Sai in Room No. 102 of Admin building.
3. Only limited accommodation is available in hostels, branch and year wise seat distribution chart will be displayed on hostel Notice board and on website http://www.gecpatan.ac.in.
4. The Merit List for Admission in the hostel will be done strictly in accordance with the seat distribution.
5. The Merit list of the selected candidates will be declared and will be displayed on the Hostel notice board of respective hostels’ as well as on website http://www.gecpatan.ac.in.
6. Selected candidates shall remain present personally for the admission. In case of girl student she has to bring her parents and or local guardians on the given date and time in the schedule.
7. The Selected candidates have to deposit the hostel fees on the given date. If any candidate fails to deposit the fees within the given date his/her admission will be cancelled.
8. The room in the hostel will be allotted only after the verification of fees receipt.
9. Hostel Identity card will be issued to the candidates at the time of room allotment. Only after showing this card to the Gate watchman the candidates will be allowed to enter into the hostel with luggage.
10. The candidates has to report to the hostel before the last date mentioned in the admission schedule failing which   hostel authorities would have the right to cancel the admission.
11. For any further enquiry related to hostel admission, the student may communicate to the warden during the office hours.
12. Hostel residents are required to follow the rules and regulations prescribed for  them. The copy of the rules and regulation are displayed on the notice board of the Hostel and on http://www.gecpatan.ac.in.
13. Failure to observe discipline or violation of any rule may make a student liable to disciplinary action, which may result in eviction from the Hostel.
14. Those who do not get admission as per merit, they have to vacate their rooms, failing which strict disciplinary action against such students to the extent of removal from the college shall be taken.

Check List of the Documents for Hostel Admission at the time of   Room Allotment (Photocopy of these documents are required to be attached with hostel admission form)

1. Mark sheets of odd semester examinations
2. Photographs of applicant.
3. Caste Certificate (SEBC/SC/ST / PH/Creamy Layer Certificate) if needed.
4. Identity Card, duly signed Hostel Undertaking Form (Gujarati).

Admission Policy
The Merit List for Admission in the hostel will be done strictly in accordance with following effects-
1. Last odd semester Score.
2. The seats will be allotted branch wise. The number of seats allotted to each branch and category will be according to the distribution of seats.
3. The name of Students having back log in any of the subjects will appear in merit list after clear that subjects.
4. The students residing within 50 km periphery of GEC, Patan are not eligible for hostel admission. However admission may be given to such students provided the seats are available after meeting the demand from other students.
